The Models of Coin Battery

Coin Cells are divided into two models: rechargeable coin cell and non-rechargeable coin cell.

Rechargeable coin cells include 3.6V rechargeable lithium ion button batteries (LIR series) and 3V rechargeable lithium ion button batteries (ML or VL series). non-rechargeable coin cells include 3V lithium manganese button batteries (CR series) and 1.5V alkaline zinc-manganese button batteries (LR and SR series).

Button batteries generally include below models: 6F22(9V), 4F22(6V), 15F20(22.5V), 10A(9V), 11A(6V), 23A(12V), 25A(9V), 26A(6V), 27A(12) , 476A(6V), etc.

In the name of coin battery, the letters indicate the battery type, the numbers show the size.

The first two numbers mean its diameter, while the last two number indicate its thickness.

The Application of Button Batteries

The diameter of coin battery ranges from 4.8 mm to 30 mm and the thickness ranges from 1.0 mm to 7.7 mm.

Commonly, models like AG3、AG10、AG13 used for toys and gifts. CMOS battery like CR2032, which is used for computer motherboards. CR2025 for electronic dictionary. Wrist watch usually choose CR2016 or SR44, SR626.

Electronic scales, remote controls, pacemakers, electronic hearing aids, counters, cameras are the main application of the button battery.
